Front office - Analytical developer position
A tier 1 bank has an opening for a developer with excellent analytical skills. The role is based in the FX Exotics team and will involved daily interactions giving the successful candidate an excellent understanding of the business and working in a front office environment.
The focus of the role is in providing solutions to business critical problems, using whichever development tools available provide the best solution. The majority of development focuses around C++/C#, however experience with other technologies will be beneficial.
Candidates need not have working in investment banking, but a proven interest in the financial sector is essential. Strong problem solving/analytical skills are a must, and first rate development skills preferably in C++ and/or C# but good Java skills will be considered. Knowledge of multi-threading and distributed systems is expected.
