C++ Developer – Market Analytics recruitment
The Bloomberg RD Market/Stock Surveillance team develops software realtime applications which provide analytics and data about a most equity markets. We cover a broad set of functionality, as detailed as a security's order book, or as global as the World Equity Index monitor. These functions are run by clients millions of times every day.
The team owns most layers of its software, including scalable, data intensive, realtime
offlines, databases and efficient User Interfaces, and there's opportunity to work on various
aspects, as well as on whole architectures. Developers in our group have the opportunity to work in all stages of the software development life cycle, from working with our business team to define requirements, to designing, developing, testing and delivering the product to our clients. This position is for a customer driven developer, looking for opportunities to work on realtime financial systems and take ownership of client facing products.
Qualification:
* Solid C/C++/UNIX experience.
* Strong data structure, algorithm, multi threading, IPC skills.
* Experience in building mission critical real-time systems is a plus.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Interest in owning and driving forward client facing products.
* Knowledge of javascript and client/server development is a plus.
