C# Developer needed for a top notch trading firm in downtown Chicago. This company truly takes care of their employees and offers a great work environment!
We are looking for a skilled C# developer who will develop and maintain web infrastructure for supporting front, middle and back office systems.
As C# Developer you will:
- Develop web front ends for OTC and electronic trading systems.
- Implement security best practices for externally facing APIs and intra-company communications.
- Facilitate the compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Follow company and industry standards, procedures and methodologies for development of efficient applications (i.e. design, design reviews, architect reviews and code reviews).
- Liason to many groups for Intranet and public website Functionality.
Developer Essential Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of two years C# development experience;
- Background in ASP.Net, WCF, WebForms, and MVC development;
- Experience with AJAX, JSON, JQuery and related technologies.
- Experience with SQL, SQL Server and MySQL;
- Experience with code optimization;
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills coupled with a strong attention to detail;
- Must be well organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task;
- Independence and the ability to code in a clean, modular manner are required;
- Experience in the trading/investments industry preferred;
- BS/BA degree required, preferably in programming or computer science.
