C# Developer Roles – Equities Platform recruitment
We have challenging development positions for a leading Investment Bank. The main duties involve the Reengineering of existing applications, new projects working closely with business on solution delivery. They cover work around the core algorithmic trading engine as well on the interfaces across multiple asset classes supported by the Trading horizontal.
Algo developer
Main Duties
- Implementation of features, bug fixes and enhancements of algorithmic platform (futures and options) and the supporting components
- Contribute in optimizing the performance, capacity, monitoring and maintenance model of the current platform
- Participate in the on-going innovation and design of the next generation platform
- Collaborate with teams in Europe and Americas to maintain a global offering consistent with regional business requirements and standards
- Provide third line support for support team to assist with investigations and share application specific knowledge
Skills Required
- Languages: C#, C++, Java (secondary)
- Messaging Technologies :- Tibco/Solace
- Databases: KDB
- Programming Environments: Windows, Linux (secondary)
- Experience with latency optimization, performance testing, and building test environments
- Experience with distributed systems, network programming, system architecture

GUI developer
Main Duties
- Develop components for our highly customizable/high performance user interface that supports multiple asset classes.
- Contribute to architecture and technology decisions that will allow building fully scalable high performance system.
- Collaborate with teams in Europe and Americas to maintain a global offering consistent with regional business requirements and standards.
- Provide third line support for support team to assist with investigations and share application specific knowledge
Skills Required
- Experience of desktop applications using C#/Winforms/WPF
- Experience of development of trading system user interfaces.
- Experience of working in equities, options, futures, etc based trading systems (one area is sufficient).
- Best-practice development skills, appropriate use of design patterns and test-driven development
- Strong development experience of working with multi-thread applications that can support large user base.
- Good working experience on performance optimization aspect of applications.
