Leading Global Professional Services company who specialise in the Financial and Capital Markets require multiple Developers including C# and Java Guru's.
You will join as a Front Office C# Developer to work onsite with a leading Commodities desk, within a key Pricing Feeds project using cutting edge industry leading technology. You will have the responsibility of taking ownership and developing enhancements to the existing Pricing Feed system which will involve understanding Pricing feeds and how the spread will affect the trading activities.
You will need to be very efficient in C# programming, whilst advanced skills in Excel VBA and Java are highly desirable. As a Commodities Technology Consultant you will be working on C# development projects with analysts and traders to develop tools in C# and Excel for analysing the data. The role offers significant exposure to front office business users. It would also involve working closely with non-commodities business areas, and with other consultants. Some travel to other offices may be required.
- Computer Science degree
- Experience of working within a front office trading environment with daily interaction with Traders and Quant's (Commodities- Oil, Power, Gas preferred)
- Understanding of Pricing feeds, ideally relating to the Energy trading business, in particular Power, Gas and Oil (Highly desirable)
- Delivered C# development projects in a mission critical environment
