C# Front Office Developer / Chicago / $175,000 recruitment
The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work directly with traders to define requirements for applications. The ideal candidate will have a broad background in software development, data base development, and exposure to equity markets. It is essential that you have a strong background in the Financial Industry so you can develop applications and processes for equity strategies.
To be considered for this position, you must have professional experience programming in the financial sector as well as experience designing and implementing high performance systems. It is preferable to have worked with multi-threaded systems and mathematical libraries, as well. Experience with distributed systems and scalable software development along with SQL and relational database experience is a plus.
Skillset:
- BS or MS in Computer Science
- Extensive experience in C#
- Working knowledge of Java, C# and SQL
- High-speed messaging processing infrastructure
- Exchange gateways
- Low Latency data feeds
- WPF, Winforms, Silverlight is a plus
