Our client is a $20billion strong Hedge fund with performance figures of 23%. They trade a number of products across equity and commodities in both high and low frequency strategies. They have the reputation as one of the best funds globally. They use a combination of proprietary data, superior technology, and aggressive execution to achieve their trading objectives.

Working with Murex IT to develop the infrastructure for services such as market data capture and storage, STP (straight through processing), auto affirmation etc. We are looking for candidates with excellent academic and solid technical skills who want to develop their technical and product knowledge further. We require C# / JAVA and database skills on Windows 7 and Solaris.

The C# Developer position is a front-office position and the suitable candidate will work closely with the Quantitative team, notably on:

· Developing, maintaining and supporting a commodity trading tool (C, Java, C#)

· Developing various trading tools (Excel Java C#, C++)

· Developing and maintaining various overnight processes (Risk management, historical analysis C#)

Currently the team includes 2 other quants based on the commodities platform and a group of 30 traders.

Candidates MUST have:

• A minimum of 2 years as a C# Developer
• Computer Science Degree from Global top 20 University
• A grades at A-level
• expert database and C#
• SQL
• Products – some knowledge of financial products would be an advantage
• Working knowledge of Java, Solaris an advantage.
• Personal drive commercial acumen – to work with Traders, Research and Technology.
• Must have at least 2 years of commercial database and C# experience.
• Very good maths skills
• You MUST be AN EU Passport holder due to restrictions.
