There is a new role at an Investment Bank in London (City), looking for an experience Front Office Developer with an excellent technical understanding of C#, to join their Equity IT Portfolio Reporting team.
The team are a small group of IT experts responsible for a strategic project across the entire Equities Business within Global Asset Management. The team work very closely with the Front Office, interacting extensively with Quants, Research and Senior PM's.
They are undertaking a strategic programme to make a number of core architectural enhancements based on leading edge technology. They are looking for somebody tojin and contribute to this programme from day one.
You must have an expert understanding of C# programming with experience across related technologies. Knowledge of Winforms/WPF is preferred. You must also have strong database skills using Oracle and/or SQL Server and an in-depth understanding of Object-Orientated Design and Development. Agile development/TDD experience is required.
Front Office experience and excellent communication skills are also essential. Any product experience will be considered although knowledge of Equities and/or Asset Management is preferred. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-calibre technical team and play a key role in a major strategic programme for them.
