We are looking for talented developers to help us design and implement clean interfaces and flexible object models. When you look at a set of business requirements, do you see things like inheritance hierarchies and design patterns? If so, we’d like to challenge your software building sensibilities with the practicalities of solving today’s problems quickly and efficiently. Our team is looking forward to collaborating with you on interesting technical challenges such as modeling new types of financial instruments, building intelligent, yet simple, caching infrastructure and designing a state of the art corporate intranet.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with the various business units to gather requirements and lead add value to design discussions
- Design and develop interfaces using the latest technologies to provide a rich, robust and responsive user experience middle-tier or backend service layers
- Leverage technical knowledge and expertise to recommend solutions to fit the needs of end users
- Work closely with other development staff to assist in tasks outside the web realm as needed
- Ability to develop solutions from loosely defined specs, with only high level direction
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Fundamental knowledge of the following are required: C#/.NET (3.5, or 4.0), Web services or Windows Communication Framework, SQL Server 2005/2008
- Experience with the following technologies is preferred but not required: Enterprise Patterns, Team Foundation Server, XML and XSD, AJAX, jQuery, Windows Workflow Foundation, Mobile Development
- Financial services domain experience is required
- Object Oriented design and development techniques

Education
- BS or BA in Computer Science, MIS or Engineering
