Our client is a $20billion strong Hedge fund with performance figures of 23%. They trade a number of products across equity and commodities in both high and low frequency strategies. They have the reputation as one of the best funds globally. They use a combination of proprietary data, superior technology, and aggressive execution to achieve their trading objectives.

This role sits in a complex and very secret part of the business combining feeds development to internal and external parts of the business. The current architecture is old and needs a complete greenfield redevelopment which you will be responsible for. You will need to understand algo integration as well as APi’s. The role then moves to more of a quant dev role as you will be building a new analytics system for the most important part of the business. If you want exposure to being a quant dev this is for you.

The C# Developer position is a front-office position and the suitable candidate will work closely with the Quantitative team, notably on:

· Developing, maintaining and supporting a risk trading platform

· Developing various trading tools (Excel Java C#, C++)

· Developing and maintaining various overnight processes (Risk management, historical analysis C#)

Currently the team includes 8 other quants based on the commodities platform and a group of 30 traders.

Candidates MUST have:

• A minimum of 5 years as a C# Developer
• Exposure to Fixed income and rates
• Understanding of risk feeds
• Background in a bank or fund.
• Computer Science Degree from Global top 20 University
• expert database and C#
• Understand the inner workings of C#
• SQL
• API development / exposure to
• You MUST be AN EU Passport holder due to restrictions.

This role suits a junior C# developer who is looking to further expand their fixed income knowledge as well as moving to a live trading team.
