Company Overview
One of our clients in the process of completing a complex Calypso implementation for multiple finance product streams. This has led to the requirement for a Calypso technical / business specialist to assist with the effective implementation of the platform for equities and fixed income transactions.
Team description
This team works closely with business side traders, operations, compliance and accounts as well as with external exchanges and clearance houses. They are seen as a group of application specific Subject Matter Experts around the implementation and use of the calypso suite.
Role description
To be successful in this position you will have a very strong understanding and experience working with settlements and the security parameters around trades. You will be able to draw on your knowledge of how irregular trades are settled through the iterative process that occurs after a trade is rejected / decayed. You will have worked with the Calypso trading systems for a number of years and be able to manipulate the system parameters to implement complex solutions.
Requirements of the role:
- Financial Markets Experience in Trading 3years MINIMUM
- Experience as a Business Analyst 3+ years
- Intimate knowledge of the Calypso product suite
- Intimate knowledge of the settlements area
- Finance product knowledge - Equities and Fixed Income
- Calypso implementation experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem owner and solver
