Capital Markets Compliance Advisory

A bulge bracket Bank, based in The City, is looking to recruit a Capital Markets Advisory Manager into their market leading Compliance function.

The primary function is to act as a Compliance Advisory Partner to Capital Markets and to engage with other functional support teams across Commercial Banking, as required.

The role is part of a small, tight-knit team which prides itself on its supportive culture.
You will provide first hand Compliance advice with a focus on regulatory requirements applicable to Capital Markets products; in particular Debt Capital Markets, Bond Syndication, Loan Markets, Acquisition Finance and Asset Backed Securitisation.

You will also provide Compliance guidance on services across the investment spectrum and engage on projects including, Market Conduct, MAR, Benchmarks, Volker, Dodd-Frank, EMIR, Competition Risk MiFID and MiFID II.

As a second line risk function, the Advisory Compliance teams perform an essential role in working with key business and you will support areas to mitigate regulatory risks and drive the Group’s compliance and conduct culture.

You will have:
• Working knowledge of Private-side Compliance Advisory and Capital Markets product areas in particular in Debt Capital Markets, Bond Syndication, Loan Markets, Acquisition Finance and Asset Backed Securitisation.
• Compliance experience working with commercial or wholesale client sectors.
• Understanding of the three lines of defence model of risk management.
• Working knowledge of key regulatory issues within financial services sector, including Dodd-Frank, Volker, EMIR, MAD/MAR, and competition law.
