This Australian based freight forwarder has hubs based in all major locations around the world. With a strong reputation for providing a market leading service for multiple industries they have managed to build an established portfolio of clients here within WA. Due to their continual growth they are looking for an experienced cartage coordinator to join their Perth Branch.
Working as part of their transport division you will work closely with their imports team to ensure all freight arriving at the wharf is delivered to site in a timely fashion. Acting as the pivotal link between the contractors and the client you will ensure that required slots are booked and liaise with the contractors to ensure they know all the details for each movement. Managing the relationship with the clients you will be the point of contact for any delays and will be required to resolve any issues in an timely fashion.
As a motivated and team oriented individual you will have experience of dealing with the wharf on a regular basis coupled with excellent communication skills both verbally and written. The ability to prioritise your time effectively and manage client's expectations will stand you in good stead. Strong computer skills with strong attention to detail are essential.
