Cash Equities Change Manager recruitment
The Bank's Cash Equities Operations team provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, offering broad experience across multiple business lines, functions, and products; extensive exposure to senior management; and opportunities to understand and influence how the different functions, processes, and systems of the Firm work, end to end.
All candidates must have proven experience in Middle Office Operations, having actually worked in the Middle Office at some point in their career. Understanding of other areas and handshake points with Settlements and Asset Servicing is beneficial. The ideal candidate will have several years of Middle Office operations and a couple of years of Change Management experience.
The successful candidate will work on the significant project workload, with the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of activities from build out of new markets to process re-engineering. The responsibilities will include business requirements definition, project planning and management, test planning, execution, and business implementation.
Responsibilities
- Business analysis – requirements gathering, documentation and analysis using appropriate tools and techniques. Identify and solve complex business facing problems and help to drive the necessary resulting change
- Process Improvement and Control - partnering with functional groups to produce process mapping in a complete end to end business view and following analysis, produce recommendations for improvements in terms of efficiency and control
- Workshop facilitation - Engage with key stakeholders to facilitate workshops and provide data to these sessions to enable fact based conclusions to be drawn
- Presentation - Consolidate all above aspects into a concise business case with clear identification of issues, required actions, costs and benefits
- Execution - Working with core team from the business, agree defined action plan with owners and dates and follow through to delivery
- Communication - ensuring all key stakeholders understand project milestones, risks and issues
- UAT – supporting test script development and execution
- Working with IT, Finance, and the business to ensure a Front to Back delivery
Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (GPA 3.0 or better)
- Experience in Middle Office operations across an international investment bank or an asset manager
- Experience in a formal project role / formal Change function
- Strong analytical skills
- Cash Equities product knowledge; candidates with Fixed / any other ‘flow’ business will also be considered
- Broad knowledge of Capital Markets banking products
- Analytical skills. Ability to think logically to analyse problems
- Strong time management and ability to coordinate with various teams to action items
- Able to demonstrate initiative and work under little supervision
- Ability to adopt a fact based approach to issue resolution
- Control and process engineering experience is valuable
