Cash Proposals Writer
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Cash Proposals Writer (RFP Writer) to join a highly reputable Investment Bank on Canary Wharf. (Rolling Contract)
Job Purpose:
Support the Cash Management Sales process by:
• Writing high quality Cash Management and Commercial Cards proposals
• Working closely with the Cash and Commercial Cards Sales teams to deliver innovative solutions
• Supporting the proposal teams knowledge management processes to raise efficiency of proposals production
Job Background/context:
The EMEA Proposals Team is from a functional perspective part of the Sales organization provides support to the business by efficiently professionally producing proposals across the Treasury and Trade Solutions Services product set EMEA geographic span
Key Responsibilities:
• Project manage the completion of client Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), working with Sales, Product, Client Delivery, Countries and other regional proposal teams. RFPs and RFIs are Question Answer format, free format and Power Point Presentations
• Draft with Sales customised proposals for unsolicited bids.
• Work with multiple countries and product managers to create proposal templates for markets, clusters or regions for Sales Managers
• Understand customer needs and product capabilities partner sales to develop appropriate cash management and commercial cards solutions
• Develop the proposal team’s knowledge database content of product and corporate information, to increase efficiency of proposal writing
• Keep abreast of customer needs and market trends through continual training and partnership with Sales and Product Management

Knowledge/Experience:
• 2-3 years banking / financial services experience or RFP writing an advantage
• Experience in any bank’s transaction services business front office environment a major advantage
• Experience of the corporate banking sales cash management and/or commercial cards products would also be an advantage
Skills:
• Excellent writing skills
• Exposure to sales process within corporate banking environment
• Good MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
• Experience of Qvidian software would be beneficial
• Ability to learn other relevant software packages
Qualifications:
• University degree preferred but will consider candidates with relevant experience without a degree
Competencies:
• Understanding of ability to network/leverage organizational structure of Treasury and Trade Solutions and other partners
• Ability to command trust, credibility with peers (level = typically AVP to Managing Director).
• Proactive, self-starter, strong verbal and written communication skills, organization and planning skills
• Ability to leverage the Citi network, including developing maintaining distance relationships with colleagues and internal clients
