External Reporting Manager
My client, a global financial services banking brand, is seeking to recruit a senior External Reporting Manager to join their Group External Reporting function on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for collating and preparing financial information across multiple global entities to produce the consolidated reports and taking on core ownership of IFRS 9 implementation.
Key accountabilities:
· Managing all aspects of the external financial reporting process, including but not limited to the high level review of financial statements and other disclosures, as well as monthly management information
· Ownership and delivery of disclosures in the external financial statements, identifying new requirements and participating in the design of analytical review procedures
· Business partnering with Risk and wider Finance stakeholders to ensure the provision of quality information within strict deadlines
· Actively participating in the implementation of new reporting requirements and upgrades to new systems as necessary
· Maintaining compliance with key regulatory demands and improving the quality of reporting as well as information communicated to internal and external stakeholders
The ideal candidate would be an ACA qualified accountant from the Big 4 with a background in external audit and a proven track record in external reporting roles at Group level. Financial services exposure is desirable, along with strong technical knowledge of accounting, IFRS and consolidation issues.
