CASH RECONCILIATIONS recruitment
The cash team is responsible for the cash management within the Company’s Investment Operations department. The Cash Officer is responsible for settling trades with external fund managers and Company clients. The role requires that the accounts held by the Company are accurate and reconciled daily to maintain regulatory compliance.
Core Responsibilities:
- Ensure that reported errors are true and accurate.
- To ensure that errors are communicated effectively to necessary parties and in a timely manner for purpose of rapid resolution.
- To maintain records as are required to ensure that investment process is transparent to regulators and external auditors regarding Breach and Reconciliation Recording.
- Ensure that the Investment Operations team remain compliant and process new regulations that may impact the team.
- Contribute to and maintain relevant and robust documented procedures.
- To make effective use of the Company’s wrap platform and external systems that are relevant to the role.
- Prioritise the work to ensure all activities are completed on time and within agreed deadlines.
- Support other Investment Operations teams to ensure that the highest possible KPI targets are achieved.
- Undertake any other projects/tasks as may reasonably be required to facilitate the smooth operation of the company.
Core Requirements:
- Experience: at least 1 year in similar role and previous operations experience.
- To settle all trades, rebates or distributions in an accurate and timely manner.
- To reconcile cash payments on a daily basis.
- Reconcile all accounts held by our client
- Ensure client funds are repatriated to Clients on a daily basis.
- Ensure that all debtor and creditor positions are chased and accurate.
- Generate and monitor FSA Client Money Calculations for the Company and its clients.
- Perform investigations on outstanding bank/control account entries.
