CASS Team Manager
A unique opportunity has arisen with a top tier stockbroking and investment management institution for a CASS Team Manager. This is a great chance to work in a dynamic and exciting environment in a company with rich history within the City of London.
As CASS Team Manager, your primary responsibilities will be to ensure the effective running of the operational aspects of the CMAR reconciliation team. You will assume the Deputy CF10a position, supporting the Head of Operations in his management duties. This position also requires you to participate in the CASS Governance Committee. You will identify and assess the impact of regulatory changes and non-regulatory developments regarding the CMAR regime within the UK as applied to a UK Wealth Management Provider. You are expected to be the on-site CASS point of contact within the team, where you are expected to maintain client money and Asset policies, procedures and other documentation.
The ideal candidate will have a degree, or relevant qualifications in Finance. You must have previous operational/CASS related experience within an Asset Management or Wealth Management firm within the UK. You must possess an extremely strong knowledge of the UK regulatory framework and excellent working knowledge of the FCA's CASS regime. As a senior member of the team, strong communicational skills are essential, as you will be expected to liaise confidently to key stakeholders within the business.
