The ideal candidate will have experience in various child care roles such as centre based work, babysitting, nannying and OSHC. You will have a positive attitude and always willing to assist in the wide range of tasks involved when working in childcare. Such tasks will include, interacting with the children and staff, nappy changing, toileting routines and organising or assisting in child centred activities such as free play or reading groups. It is also preferable if you have your own form of transport to increase your opportunity to work.
Casual work can vary from day to day shifts at various centres or more consistent work at one centre once you have built a positive rapport with a centre that have a high demand for casual staffing.
