Casualty Producing Broker
Full Job Description
The role will focus on New Business within corporate casualty lines but you will also be given a small book of retentions and renewals to grow; individuals who are able to bring an existing book of business with them are of particular interest.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and enhancing, where required, existing Client relationships ensuring that the premium income contributes to the achievement of your own and the company`s financial targets;
- Actively acquiring new Client relationships in line with the company growth strategy;
- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with Insurer partners, affiliates and other appropriate third parties;
- Maintaining excellent verbal and written communication with Clients at all stages of the process to maximise service levels;
- Provide renewal documentation and amendments to cover ensuring that the appropriate systems are updated and maintained;
- Provide up to date information for client reports in agreed format on a timely basis;
- Service existing transactional business directly with clients or in association with the Account Executive.
You must be able to demonstrate a successful track record of bringing on and developing new business within the insurance industry.
Successful candidates will have:
- Minimum of 5 years experience within a Broking or Insurer environment with specific exposure to the London corporate markets;
- A thorough understanding of casualty insurance including EL, PL, GL, PI experience;
- A proven sales focused approach to client relationships whilst ensuring that excellent customer service and advice is provided at all times;
- Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to communicate clearly;
- To have good organisational skills and be able to adapt to changing circumstances in a fast moving environment;
- The ability to meet deadlines, keep promises and prioritise own workload.
