Casualty Underwriter

Full Job Description

Working for one of the largest global insurers you will underwrite new and renewal corporate liability risks (EL,PL and Products) all introduced by a panel of London market brokers. You will also work with the senior underwriter to help support the development and management of the portfolio and producer relationships, this will involve regular liaison with brokers and-or clients.

Responsibilities include:
Work with team to drive product development, including cross-class opportunities for London Market.
Assist in business planning of the account to establish account budgets and reinsurance strategy.
Identify and develop new opportunities to develop the account
Travel to identify new prospects and grow business with existing producers

Experience in casualty underwriting.
ACII qualification or progression towards qualification.
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Team player
Clear ability to think on their feet and make intelligent, innovative business decisions.
