CAT Engine Mechanic
CAT Engine Mechanic - El Reno, OK (NOMAC)
Nomac Drilling, a Chesapeake Energy company, is looking for an Engine Mechanic to work primarily on our Caterpillar diesel engines that power our drilling operations in Oklahoma. The candidate should have at least 1 year of field service experience. The candidate must live or be willing to relocate to the operational area and be on call at all times. The candidate will perform the following: - Perform maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on Caterpillar Electric 3500 series and C series engines, using a laptop to perform troubleshooting and diagnostics - Travel to field locations to conduct service - Assist other mechanics when needed Required: - Previous experience maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing Caterpillar engines in the Drilling Industry. - Verifiable experience working in a field environment performing service calls. - Ability to travel to field locations within assigned areas. - Willingness to work in various types of weather. - Willingness to be on call 24/7. - Strong current Caterpillar product knowledge. Preferred: - Professional training or certifications. - Experience working at a Caterpillar dealership.
