Cataract/Lasik Laser Technician
Sightpath Medical, the premier cataract LASIK mobile services provider in the U.S is currently seeking Cataract/Lasik Laser Technician for it Denver, CO region. Travel will primarily be within a 3 hours radius of this location, although business demands may require adjustments.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position has three key functions:
Service mobile lasik, cataract, diagnostic, and SLT customers
Maintain equipment and/or manage inventory
Communicate pertinent account information to management
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The major task areas required of the incumbents to successfully perform in this job.
1. Service mobile lasik, cataract, diagnostic, and SLT customers:
Maintain and deliver equipment
Facilitate and help in any way during procedures
2. Maintain equipment and/or manage inventory:
Accountable for condition and PM status of their equipment
Manage inventory efficiently
Maintain a home office and/or storage facility
3. Communicate pertinent account information:
Deliver all paperwork in an appropriate fashion
Exchange and keep current all surgeon and facility preferences
Report any important account information to management
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum requirements to competently perform the key responsibilities of this job
- Certifications: Certified Surgical Technician….for servicing cataract accounts
- Experience in service delivery logistics and cost efficiencies
- Excellent customer service and customer relationship building skills
- Demonstrated problem solving and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to travel on short notice and up to 60+% of the time.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Handles emergencies calmly and logically, ensuring appropriate communications to involved and required parties.
- Proactive and high energy individual.
- Experience and understanding of health care facilities.
- Able and willing to travel up to 50% sometimes with little notice
