No Security Clearance Required about security clearance definitions Position Description Provides overall Category Management leadership for Non-Production/Indirect Category. Leads the cross functional team in the development of the category profile, strategy and annual plan. Provides regular reports and gains approval from the Category Council. Leads the development of contracting strategies within the category. Leads the development of negotiation strategies for strategic sourcing events and assesses overall supplier performance across the category. Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders. Key skills include strong leadership, communication and collaborative working together skills along with analytic and strategic planning capabilities. Ability to facilitate agreement on the plan with business partners and other stakeholders, monitor progress against the plan in a cross-functional category team, and identify and implement corrective action to make sure progress is achieved against the plan. Define or apply the category segmentation structure and taxonomy or each category and value/prioritize all of the potential opportunities.
