Fabick CAT is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Warehouseman at our Marion, Illinois location. Primary responsibility will be to pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards. Additional responsibilities are to make new and replacement hose assemblies as needed. Other job responsibilities include:
· Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer;
· Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors;
· Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms or other areas;
· Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a warehouse position and must be attentive to detail. A high school diploma or GED is required. Forklift verification is a plus.
