Opportunity
The Alternative Credit Group is a team of 19 people and part of MG's Fixed Income Team. MG has been active in CDOs since 2001, with 20 outstanding CDOs and structured credit funds (both cashflow and synthetic) totalling over Eur 4.5bn under management. The team also manages various other Alternative Credit funds (ie. Irish QIF, UK Limited Partnership, Luxembourg SICAV) totalling EUR 2.2bn under management.
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join the team on a permanent basis, working within the Deal Administration / Management group. It will involve the following duties and responsibilities:
Key responsibilities
- Assisting in the administration of current CDOs and/or Alternative Credit funds (the -Funds')
- Involvement in all transactional aspects of the Funds, including cash reconciliation and accurately maintaining data on internal systems
- Liaising with trustees, rating agencies, internal and external investors
- Production of information for monthly and other regular reporting
- Monitoring and maintaining administration and compliance models
- Assisting Portfolio Managers on ad-hoc duties
What we are looking for
- It is likely that the successful candidate will have an operations background
- CDO administration experience is preferred but not essential
- Strong numerical ability and attention to detail
- A high level of PC literacy, particularly in Excel
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and be customer focused
- Must be proactive and a self starter
- A team player with the flexibility and ability to manage a varied role
