We have an exciting opportunity in the San Francisco Bay Area for a Cell Culture Process Development Associate for a long-term contract opportunity. This position will focus on operating, developing and improving various upstream processes within the Cell Culture Technology Process Science department. The candidate will apply engineering and cell culture expertise to design, perform, analyze and document experiments. The candidate will support other researchers and make improvements in equipment, software, and workflow Skill Sets Desired: Development and support of scaleable fermentation processes for mammalian cell culture - 8 Years Operate and perform aseptic technique, thaw, shake flask, cell banking, Wave reactors - 8 Years Evaluate and implement new technologies for micro-bioreator or single-use bioreactors - 3 Years Ensure generate DOE, delivery comprehensive cell culture analysis and present data - 8 Years Ensure safety including training and following protocol and revisions - 8 Years Coordinate project with other functional groups as a upstream representatives - 4 Years Generate purchase requisition including capital equipment and work with logistics - 3 Years Improve data entry and automation by working with IT and automation group - 1 Years Transfer process to manufacturing (BIFI and/or BIBC sites) or customers requests - 2 Years Be able to apply scientific and engineering principles to solve complex processes - 5 Years
