Center Store Manager

The Center Store Manager is responsible for effectively leading, managing, and developing overall store operations and associates in order to execute programs and maximize sales and profitability.

 

The Center Store Manager is expected to perform in sales, profit including shrink, expenses, labor and supply management, service, compliance, training, recruiting, retention, and promotion practices.  This leader is required to be in alignment with the company vision and follow company practices and programs as well as demonstrate integrity and urgency in all practices. 

 

The Center Store Manager is accountable for inventory, in-stock position, pricing integrity, merchandising, labor, and other operational processes.

 

The Center Store Manager also manages and develops four department managers, and recruits and develops store associates.

 

This manager coordinates and plans seasonal and nonseasonal merchandise as it relates to advertised events, and ensures shelf conditions and plan-o-gram integrity according to company policy.

 

This manager is expected to demonstrate exceptional customer service, and is responsible for resolving customer complaints and coaching associates in the art of customer service.

 

This position is key in ensuring sanitation, compliance and safety in all practices.
