Job Description
As CEO of this operation you will have the drive and ambition to grow the organisation and ensure the success of the entire operation. You will have an exceptional track record in the Banking industry and will have full strategic and operational responsibility from another banking organisation and have the ability to efficiently manage the £300m of deposits so far secured. As CEO you will have experience of running department heads and a history implementing new strategies and have a track record of increasing company profitability.
The CEO will implement guidelines, regulations and ensure industry compliance throughout the operation. The CEO will manage the progress of every initiative, product or service that the firm offers, and reports directly to the board of directors. Experience of compliance, risk management and working with financial authorities is a must, as is a willingness to be based in a channel island location.

Person Specification
Requirements:
- A minimum of 15 years experience of International banking is essential
- Excellent knowledge of retail banking operations, with strong understanding of treasury services
- Extensive knowledge of compliance requirements and statutory requirements in the UK market place.
- Firm understanding of FSA requirements essential, including prior involvement in overseeing policy aspects
- Regulation experience by the SFA/TSA
- Experience in Global or International marketing initiatives
- Experience as a Compliance Officer preferable
- Experience as a Policy Advisor useful but not essential
- Background of liaising with high worth companies and individuals
- Experience of Sharia’h banking and working with Middle Eastern clientele would be preferred but is not essential.
- Strong leadership and management ability in developing, motivating and retaining critical talents and building an effective management team
