This role will have responsibility for the daily client money monitoring and regulatory reporting.  CF10a designation with the FCA.

Oversight of the firm’s financial books and records.

Oversight of all procedures related to good financial controls.

Preparation/submission of FCA financial regulatory reports.

Implementation of controls over client assets and money controls in accordance with regulations.

Research of new products.

Development of functional business requirements for enhancements to existing financial, regulatgory and operational systems.

Liaising with Treasury, Finance and Clearing for liquidity, capital and custody requirements, for compliance with the FCA requirements.

Maintaining Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (“ICAAP”) and Liquidity policy and ensuring compliance.

Forecasting, including financial models for the scenario analysis required under FCA regulations.

Coordination of the financial and client money audits.

 

 

The successful candidate will be degree educated, ideally with a professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or overseas equivalent).

 

Extensive financial reporting expertise with FCA financial and custody regulations required; candidate will need to be registered under the approved person regime.

 

Must be a driven self starter with strong analytical and communication skills, as this role requires extensive global interaction and independent work.
