Change Analyst – Ops recruitment
AGS on behalf of RBS represents contract and temporary opportunities for RBS MIB (Markets and International Banking). We have an outstanding contract opportunity for a Change Analyst to make their mark with one of the world's largest international banking and financial services companies. In the role of a Change Analyst, you will play an integral role in helping our client deliver market leading services that set it apart from its competitors.
The role will involve:
o User on-boarding and adoption of new system functionality
o Review and management of interim and target operating model post release of new system functionality
o Analysis of business priorities and benefit review of future template enhancement
o Build and review control environment in project change space to facilitate management of data integrity post data population
o Assist with business readiness and UAT
o People, policy and process review of in-flight and future work packages
o Establish areas of resistance and developing plans to address areas of concern
o Identifying change opportunities
As the successful candidate you will take ownership for driving the business change element of the SDS project; this will involve a high attention to detail and an understanding of the BAU and change processes. Candidate will be pro-active in driving improvements and changes to current in-efficient processes and will be responsible for maintaining a stable and controlled environment. You will need to be open, honest and authentic in raising issues and managing risks across the change space. Previous experience working with ISDA Master Agreement and or CSA documentation would be highly advantageous.
Detailed specific responsibilities include:
Control Function
- Ensure current and new processes are in line with existing controls and have a strong control focus when making recommendations.
- Maintenance and development of the control environment to minimise losses by eradicating errors and avoiding reputational risk.
Business Support and Customer Service
- Close liaison with all front to back teams as well as Docs, Legal, CEM, IT and Operations to ensure the timely and on going development/projects.
- Primary interface with other Operation functions and other infrastructure groups to support a 'one team approach'.
- Nurture a 'can-do' attitude in managing operational implementation and ensuring they are institutionalised in day to day work practices.
Communication
- Clear and concise communication with support teams and outsourced groups to ensure the timely and efficient dissemination of information
- Ability to escalate where required and highlight issues
- Flexible attitude towards change and changing priorities within the team
- Support and aid the development of frequent MIS reporting. This is to assist performance measurement, cost effectiveness and ensure appropriate timely escalation.
Projects and improvements
- Responsible for developing and proposing additional process solutions among the team where gaps are identified outside of scope of original project.
- New systems and regular releases require the individual to manage and be responsible for testing and the timely release of new functionality

Key Competencies and Skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint skills required.
- Proactive at constructively challenging processes with clear deliverables and benefits.
- Experienced working in a change environment.
- Organisation and attention to detail is vital, will need track record in being able to meet deadlines and deliver.
