Change Management – Prime Equity Derivatives recruitment
Main Duties
- Project management of regulatory deliveries to meet business objectives and industry deadlines.
- Review of guidelines published by regulators to understand their impact to Prime Services and Equity Derivative Operations.
- Business analysis – Translate regulations into business requirements. Documentation and analysis using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Design and document business processes for new world view post regulation implementations. Ensuring business users are trained accordingly.
- Execution - Working with core team from the business, agree defined action plan with owners and dates and follow through to delivery
- Communication - ensuring all key stakeholders understand project milestones, risks and issues
- Working with IT, Finance, Risk teams and the Business to ensure coordinated Front to Back delivery
- Workshop facilitation - Engage with key stakeholders to facilitate workshops and provide data to these sessions to enable fact based conclusions to be drawn
- UAT – supporting test script development and execution
Person Requirements
Education / Professional Qualifications:
- Graduate with good honours degree or equivalent
Work Experience / Background:
Essential
- Experience in change management across an international investment bank and / or a major consulting firm within financial services
- Strong business analysis skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Track record in the delivery and implementation of change initiatives
- Strong knowledge of investment banking processes and Operations
- Experience in process improvement analysis and business process reengineering.
- A good understanding with system implementation lifecycle methodologies particularly in the analysis and design phases, including; development of business requirements/functional specifications and test case development.
- Strong track record of execution and results, high level of drive to meet deadlines and targets.
- Ability to prioritise, be flexible and respond to changing environments.
- Strong internal relationship management skills – the team works across many areas of the organisation, the ability to relate to people and work in ad-hoc teams is critical.
- Previous experience in at least one of the following: Operations, Change Management
Desirable
• Knowledge of recent regulatory initiatives such as Dodd Frank, Basel III, EMIR.
• Knowledge of OTC Derivatives and how they work from trade capture to settlement and/ or knowledge of OTC Derivative Confirmations.
- Experience within an Investment Bank
Business Skills Knowledge:
- Equity Derivative product experience
- Broad knowledge of Capital Markets banking products
- Analytical skills. Ability to think logically to analyse problems
- Strong time management and ability to coordinate with various teams to action items
- Self starting team player, able to demonstrate initiative and work under little supervision
- Ability to adopt a fact based approach to issue resolution
Control and process engineering experience is valuable
All candidates must have proven experience in change management.
