The Role: The Change Mangement / Business Analyst role is working from the business side, of course you will be working close with the technical function but the role is not a technically focused role in any way. It’s more about Change Management / Business Analyst Operations knowledge, understanding the trade lifecycle and how that applies to the business. The majority of the Change Management / Business Analyst role will be driving process reengineering, system enhancements/migration and providing solutions to the business. It’s important to have a firm grasp of operations as you will need to understand their requirements, why that is needed and be able to relate this to the technical team. Ideally, you will know if said requirements are possible from a technical perspective but this isn’t essential.
You: Ideally you will have worked Operations from a line perspective and then stepped into a Change Management / Business Analyst role. In terms of Products, a broad range of Banking products would be ideal to complete the Change Management / Business Analyst role to the required level. Ideally around the AVP level or above.
