Description

The Channel Relations Representative (CRR) will coordinate the overall wholesaling and account planning activities to all channels of BNY Mellon Asset Management and the broader BNY Mellon Organization. The CRR is responsible for addressing all channel issues and working closely with various internal departments (Product Development, Investment Team and Senior Management) to meet channel requirements. The CRR will set up meetings to promote and train the various channel sales groups on Mellon Capital investment strategies. The CRR is also responsible for developing sales strategies and collateral materials (including case studies and cheat sheets) to reinforce the sales message. The CRR will be the primary client liaison between the channels and the client service team. In this position the CRR is dually responsible for broadening the channel asset base while minimizing risk to the firm.

Qualifications

BS/BA required; MBA desired. Possesses the CFA designation or is involved in the program. Has three to five years of investment management sales, marketing or relationship management experience. Possesses excellent communication skills and has in-depth knowledge of the company's investment disciplines and services. Considerable autonomy for managing account base while reporting directly to the Head of North American Business Development.
