Our client helps organisations to protect lone workers. Whether it's through device based solutions, effective policy creation or bespoke training, they help customers consider and reduce physical risks to staff and financial risks and associated costs to business. They are now on the lookout for a Channel Sales Manager to strengthen their team.
As a Channel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for our client's indirect channel sales. In this pivotal role, you will be accountable for the successful growth in channel sales, helping our client maintain its position as the leading UK provider of compelling technology solutions.
You will be tasked with managing and developing the existing UK channel partner program, executing program commitments and enforcing requirements with existing partners. Setting up new, effective, credible and proactive channel partners, you will deliver sales targets based on sound strategies.
Your key duties will include:
- Making sure channel partners co-exist effectively
- Ensuring channel partners create and implement effective sales and marketing strategies
- Helping channel partners identify key target verticals and applications
- Managing channel partner pipelines and supporting key opportunities
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A successful track record in channel and direct sales
- IT or telecom solutions sales experience gained within a B2B environment
- Experience of defining and implementing a sales strategy
- An understanding of solution selling methodologies
To be considered for this position, you must have excellent all-round business acumen. A proactive approach and excellent organisational skills are also key.
Although not essential, experience of managing a sales team would be an advantage to your application, as would any public sector sales experience. A technical understanding of IT or telecoms technologies would also be highly beneficial.
