Our Chaplin serves on an interdisciplinary team providing services to terminally ill patients and their families in their homes or facilities. They provide assessments and counseling to patients and their families regarding spiritual and emotional needs related to the dying process. Minimum requirements include 1-2 units of clinical pastoral education and academic preparation in theology, pastoral ministry, and/or spirituality, Masters prepared in theology, 4 units of CPE,certification with a nationally recognized religious body is preferred, and theability to work with a diverse population.
