Charles River Development Technical Specialist
My leading fund manager is looking for a candidate to act as a key member of the Charles River delivery team. They will be responsible for ensuring that the system is fit for purpose with regards to Charles River IMS middle tier configuration, interfaces to other systems and market data sources.
This fantastic company is a major player in the financial services world - providing multiple services internationally. They look to set the highest standards across Asset Management and are continuously looking for the best people in the industry to develop within their company.
The ideal candidate will be tenacious and talented, looking to grow within a company and improve personally. They must have a good level of seniority, agile experience and deep technical knowledge of Charles River. They must also have the ability to work quickly, understand the objectives and scope of the delivery and testing of a large program and a self-starter attitude.
You will also be expected to provide third level support to the back office teams, offering expert knowledge and managing relationships between the RTB teams and the larger development team.
The candidate must have extensive and demonstrable experience with Charles River Investment Management Solutions front and back end setup and configuration. Including:
- System parameter changes
- Workflow configuration
- User and group privilege changes
- Stored Queries
- Navigations and blotter queries
- Import/exports
- Messaging
- Good knowledge of Charles River database schema and SQL
Essential Technical Skills:
- Charles River Development (CRD)
- Strong SQL
- Excellent core java or .net skills
- Scripting skills (ie. Python or Shell)
- FIX experience
- Understanding of infrastructure solutions
