Description
In addition, the manager will be responsible for competitive monitoring of checking products pricing, innovations and positioning. Position includes managing all aspects of the checking product development lifecycle including: research, design, prioritization, proposals, implementation and post launch maintenance. Will work closely with Operations, Technology, Training, Legal, Finance, Sales Management and Marketing Services in coordinating product operations, support, promotions and training related activities. Will also be responsible of ensuring financial viability of products/programs structure by working closely with Decision Management and Finance.
- Drive technology projects for new product development and enhancement projects by working with Technology, Operations, Training, Sales, and others as appropriate.
- Subject Matter Expert for specific product segment/package to understand customers' financial needs, behaviors, product usage and requirements, to refine and enhance the value proposition.
- Develop detailed product requirements ensuring product quality and performance goals are met
- Conduct market readiness evaluations during testing phases, to ensure product performance post launch
- Provide management status of product development projects and business related issues
- Drive cross functional teams to resolve business issues related to checking products
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, market demand and product suitability of consumer checking products
- Monitor competitive checking products in terms of pricing changes, innovations in features and services, and overall positioning in the marketplace.
- Manages external relationship with vendors for product related programs
- Provide on-going product management of new and existing products to ensure compliance, audit, and regulatory requirements are met.
- Conduct analysis to frame business problem or opportunity and provide the basis for program strategy/execution
- Strong customer focus. Ability to identify key customer needs and develop/enhance products to help meet most of those needs
- Monitor, analyze and report on product performance
- Work with Marketing Services to develop marketing materials to promote new products/programs developed
- Work with Decision Management/Finance to evaluate/improve product/program profitability
- Support preparation of business reviews to highlight findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Manage all marketing collateral( update existing /develop new) to support checking product/segment responsibilities
