We have an exciting NEW Chef Manager Position now available in our Corporate Services Market in Chattanooga, TN. Located in Downtown Chattanooga, the chef manager position will work to create healthy menu options for our main cafeteria and onsite Starbucks location. This particular account supplies a cutting edge health and wellness program and partners with our client to develop new and exciting ways to eat healthy. Serving a population of 4500 people, the chef manager position will manage a diverse team and will be responsible for inventory, grocery ordering, ensuring HAACP standards, and controlling food costs and purchasing compliance. The ideal preferred candidate will have a strong culinary background with at least 10 years of experience in a corporate dinning or high end restaurants and must be computer savvy to understand internal Sodexo applications. Position Summary : Supervises cooks and oversees the preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of food. Estimates food consumption and purchases food. May assist in cooking and preparing food as necessary. Responsible for maintaining kitchen and storage facilities in sanitary condition. Responsible for cash management. Interacts with client/customers on a regular basis. This position is the leader for an account/unit chef/production group. This position is in smaller accounts/units where there is not a Chef or Food Production Manager. Reports to GM.
