Our line of products for food processing includes foam CIP detergents, sanitizers, chain lubricants, heavy duty oven cleaners and hand care products. As a family-owned manufacturer of our own products, Morgan-Gallacher, Inc. has a distinct cost advantage over many of our competitors.
This job entails developing a prospect list covering the Southern California geography and implementing a marketing strategy that includes mailings, phone calls and meetings at the customer's locations. Some meetings will occur before and/or after regular business hours. The employee will create proposals that detail potential cost savings, improvements in efficiencies and other recommendations. The employee will then present these proposals to prospects.
After closing the account, the employee will be responsible for ongoing service of the account including visits during sanitation operations; which will oftentimes be after normal business hours. The employee will instruct the sanitation crew on proper chemical usage and provide training classes to the sanitaiton crews. The employee will also be responsible for writing field reports covering sanitation concerns, plant status and employee safety. Equipment such as dilution machines, CIP controllers, pumps and foaming equipment will also need to be maintained.

RequirementsQualified Candidates Must Fulfill the Following Requirements:
1) Knowledge of Food Processing Cleaning Sanitation Operations Including Foam CIP Cleaning
2) Present a Professional Image in Personal Appearance and Written Communication
3) At Least 2 Years Previous Chemical Sales Experience
Preferred Candidates Will Possess the Following Skills:
1) Bilingual
2) Previous Public Speaking Experience
