Position Summary: Laboratory analysis of samples of drug substances and drug products using HPLC and GC analytical equipment. Analytical method development, validation and transfer of methods for actives, related substances, and cleaning residues. Routine sample analysis; report writing; lead project teams; HLPC assays; ICP-MS assays; other analytical assays. Specific Job Duties: - Responsibilities include analytical testing, data review and equipment troubleshooting and repair.- Author method validations, tech transfers, technical assessments other significant investigations, and procedures according to ICH guidelines, current FDA standards and cGMP's.. This includes any extensive investigations that may partner with GRN Production Depts, DR, or ROC Analytical. - Development of analytical methods using primarily HPLC, UV/VIS, FTIR and ICP-MS. Write required SOPs.- Carry out assigned experiments and assist in the evaluation of data and writing reports, including statistical and predictive analysis with necessary reports and communication.- Function as a Team Leader role for the Department. Provide technical, production assistance to Lab staff to plan/coordinate the lab testing schedule. This includes testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished product testing.- Review existing analytical methods for compliance to current industry and government standards/guidelines.- Project management duties for LIMS. This role includes assisting the GLIMS PM to guide the process of implementation of GLIMS with the Chemistry Laboratory. Person will be able to program and modify GLIMS to meet the needs of the laboratory operation.- Comply with GLP, cGMP and all applicable state and federal laws. Assist in writing appropriate method validation reports for regulatory review.- Maintain laboratory notebook (i.e. good record keeping, detail oriented). Must be able to work and execute given tasks/assignments independently.- Notebook, logbook, data reviewer/approver.
