PR Account Director

Euro London is proud to be working with this world leader in Marketing, Public Relations and Communications. They're looking for an Account Director to join their specialist Broadcast PR team in their stunning London offices, initially on a fixed term contract with a view to going permanent afterwards. This position looks after both new business along with managing existing international client accounts, and gives you the opportunity to do your thing on a global stage, working with some of the world's biggest brands.

• You will be an experienced, talented project and account leader who handles a wide variety of assignments, projects, clients and direct reports successfully and with total independence.

• You bring specialist expertise within Broadcast PR. That will include a bursting book full of contacts including the leading planners in broadcasting, but equally you'll understand that outstanding broadcast PR is so much more than just creating media relations. You combine this with strategic skills and a unyielding passion and talent for storytelling.

• Driving and pitching for new business will be a key element in this position. You must be able to demonstrate significant success in this sector.

• You obviously have substantial experience in handling large, international accounts and can do so with little contribution from your line manager.

• You can adopt a Producer role in any situation; whether it's a B2B corporate event to an international trade show. Your innate ability to hunt and follow up on news hooks will make you adept at getting the best out of people and the story.

• Strong client relationship building skills will come as standard and your high-level account handling knowledge and skills will be in abundance. You'll demonstrate strong project management, budgeting, programming and people management.

• You have excellent experience in the production arena and know how to utilise technology to make world-wide news including setting up SMTs and new methods of video delivery, eg: webcasts.

• You assist senior managers in identifying and addressing training, leadership and career development needs and opportunities within the team or practice group and help to ensure that those needs are met.

• You have the confidence and support of clients and maintain strong relationships.

• You have a passion for video communications and an excellent understanding of the broadcast and digital media environment.

• You meet performance requirements and growth projections.

• Without question you will be fluent to a NATIVE LEVEL in English, both written and spoken. Given the international environment, additional foreign language skills would be nice - but not a must-have.

Great reward for the right candidate - competitive salary depending on experience and excellent benefits. This is an initial 3 month contract, with the opportunity to go permanent afterwards.
