Chief Banking Officer, Algeria recruitment
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Banking Divisions and for drawing up guidelines to make commercial management effective and to ensure the highest level of quality in the field of profitability for the benefit of the Bank’s Units.
Responsibilities:
- Organize, develop and maximize the commercial function of the Bank.
- Participate in the Credit Committee and propose credit limits for the Bank’s clients.
- Prepare and supervise the directives associated with the implementation of Basel II.
- Take control of internal and external Audit reports and ensure compliance with established rules.
- Guide and build the Corporate Banking team to monitor their performance and accomplish their goals.
- Provide advice to Board regarding the situation of the banking market and the environment as well as any aspect linked to liquidity/commercial/interest rate/banking conditions/new arrivals on the market/new retail products and any other aspect which would impact the bank’s commercial strategy.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
- Extensive Banking experience across all Banking lines in particular Corporate Banking.
- Fluent Arabic English – French highly desirable.
