Keith District Hospital Inc (KDH) is a community, not-for-profit health service provider located only 2.5 hours from Adelaide. Servicing the picturesque Tatiara and Coorong District Councils, Upper South East and surrounding district communities of South Australia, KDH provides holistic care to the community across general medicine, acute medical, surgical, community and aged care services. Committed to customer-centric, holistic health care service delivery, KDH recently completed an organisational review. KDH is now entering a new phase to meet the challenges and changing face of rural health service delivery and secure its ongoing future through the creation of a new management and leadership structure.

Reporting to the Board, this newly created position will convert strategy into action and lead the day-to-day operational management and financial performance. We seek applications from candidates who have sound understanding of the health and human services sector, strong business and financial acumen, leadership, team management, interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills. The key aspects of the role will be the development of sound relationships across government, health funds, medical professionals and peak bodies, staff and key stakeholders in the region. With a passion for community, a progressive approach to service delivery and change, this role will suit either a seasoned leader or a senior manager seeking to advance their career in the human services sector and with a genuine desire to make a difference to this large, regional community.
