Job Summary
Reporting directly to the Group CFO in Hong Kong office, the successful candidate will be supporting the business units with areas business financial functions, such as control activities, accounting, cash management foresting, business strategy, financial risk and audit management, review of financial statements, oversee budgetary planning etc. You shall able to cope with a dynamic and fast growing environment as the company has aggressive plan for growth over the following financial years.

We are a fast growing group specialized in petroleum products including storage and terminals, wholesale, oil and gas exploration, marine bunkering and international trading, shipping Chartering, upstream exploration. .
Brightoil Petroleum in Singapore is engaged in overseas business developments, including international oil product trade, overseas oil exploration, business development and participation in international oil market operation. Due to our business expansion, we are seeking high calibre and dedicated professionals to join us in a dynamic and challenging environment as Chief Financial Officer to support our ISB business and operations.
Job Description
- Responsible for overall financial management of the company,providing strategic financial direction to management.
- Perform regular annualfinancial forecast, managing all financial control and reporting requirements of the business.
- Review, manage and upgrade financial management measures and procedures
- Partner with individual operations to continuously improve business performance across the group
- Lead preparation of monthly management reporting and annualstatements
- Liaise with auditors for annual audit
Job Requirements
- Major trading house or oil majors experience in similar capacity, at least 15 years above in managerial capacity, , ideally from a well-known Oil Gas company
- Degree/Master in Accountancy with further internationally-recognised professional qualifications
- Hands on experience in all accounting aspects, best if managed global accounting functions experience
- Well verse in SAP, other trading software, knowledge in computerize control functions and setup
- Well understanding in financial derivatives trading especially oil related commodities
- Team leadership, able to work under tight deadlines, stressful environment
- Well understanding of Settlement and Accounting functions
- Full understanding of reporting requirements in Singapore, SAS/ IAS/ Taxation
- Ability to setup internal control functions
- Able to work long hours, committed and able to communicate well with management, good leadership and adaptable to a fast changing environment, mixed eastern and western culture
- Outstanding manager of people and relationships across all levels of the organisation
- Sharp-thinker, always in command of the numbers, deeply understanding all aspects of the business
- Stable, adaptable to devise culture, mature professional, who is willing to grow with the company
- Well verse in Mandarin, both written and spoken
