Job Description:

The Chief Investment Office, (CIO) is a global business that manages the Company's structural risk. Sitting within the Corporate Sector of JPMorgan Chase, CIO currently manages all of the Company's global structural interest rate and foreign exchange risk.

This is an opportunity for a qualified accountant to join CIO's EMEA Financial Control team working in a dynamic and fast paced environment. The team is responsible for the overall integrity and accuracy of the financial statements and regulatory returns, including substantiation and certification of the balance sheet, adherence to regulatory and financial / accounting standards for CIO, intercompany breaks and quarterly regulatory submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

- General day-to-day management of hedging FX revaluation on AFS portfolio

- Resolution of intercompany breaks generated by the business

- Responsible for the certification of Balance Sheet accounts at month end

- Responsible for month end adjustments and postings to the General Ledger

- Responsible for a variety of control processes

- Various regulatory responsibilities at quarter end

- Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail.

- Highly numerate with a methodical approach to problem solving.

- Strong relationship building and communication skills.

- Excellent time management, organisation and multi-tasking skills.

- Ability to work independently using initiative and ability to manage your own work.

Experience / Education Required:

- Educated to degree level

- Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)

- Knowledge of FAS 115, FAS 157 FAS 161 preferable

- Good technical skills in software such as MS Excel and Access.
