This is a senior role which requires a successful experience of how to strengthen locally and expand internationally an asset management business.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
Job Summary
This is a strategic position to run the operations and the finances side of an asset management business with a strong expertise and attraction for the implementation of what needs to be done.
The role:
- Validate, improve and control the organisational process.
- Interface internally and with the regulatory authorities on all compliance issues, deal with the custodian banks, the company lawyers, tax authorities, IT, banking, all external service providers and foreign offices
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the group which include finances, accounting, bookkeeping, administration, IT and HR.
- This is the role of a COO of an asset manager who can demonstrate organisational skills and a good business sense with the capacity to integrate very effectively the back office in the MFO
- Follow up on all financial, legal and tax aspects of the company’s operations as well as any transactions conducted by the company on behalf of its clients.
The position reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with whom the candidate will have very extensive daily interaction
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Job Title

The successful candidate should demonstrate the following core competencies:
- At least 10 to 12 years strong experience and outstanding track record on the operation/finance side of an asset management business including Alternative Investments, Real Estate Funds, and Trust structures
- Comfortable within a broad international environment, experience in the GCC is useful but not required
- Bachelor’s degree required with Master preferred
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead an organisation through times of significant opportunity and rapid growth
- Superb organisational skills with the demonstrated ability to create and implement efficient organisational systems
- Willingness to relocated to Bahrain
