Chief Research Officer – Saudi Arabia recruitment
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and supervise department budget.
Recommend the department policies, systems and procedures necessary for effective function.
Enhance the internal processes and procedures, enhancing best practices and compliant with international standards.
Improve efficiency of processes and establish necessary measures to cover all processes within the organization.
Manage employees through coaching and training in order to improve performance and to achieve the department objectives and targets.
Identify new business opportunities and lead research in product development.
Direct all research initiatives requiring planning, data/information assembly, analysis and evaluation, conclusions and report preparation
Develop and implement research plans that support the objectives for future growth.
Ensure necessary research is conducted in order to asses and plan the development of new products and services and target new types of customers
Manage detailed feasibility study for product propositions supported by modelling performed by Data Management.
Ensure designing qualitative and quantitative research plans for products in all stages of the product life cycle.
Follow-up on producing studies and research as standalone products.
Ensure that technical product expertise and product development are properly provided.
Ensure development of the state of the art solutions, products, and services to the credit and risk industry.
Monitor development of market and industry studies, advisory, and economic research.
Ensure that customized risk solutions and products that satisfy the uniqueness of the Saudi market are appropriately offered.
Provide training in risk and credit management.
Review economic data in order to prepare reports detailing results of investigation, and to stay abreast of economic changes.
Engage, supervise and follow-up on strategic alliances with international partners.
Ensure the right communication between the Research and Studies Manager and Product Development, Data Management and Technology over product and service design and management.
Report to regulator.
Prepare relevant periodic reports related to the department functions as and when requested by Top Management.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 10 years experience
Western Educated
PHD (Banking, Credit Risk, Financial Economics, Business, Economics) or any related field
Expert in Economic research and analysis
Expert in risk solutions, advisory,analytics and training programs
