Job Description : ***We are seeking a PRN (On-call) Child Care Assistant who loves working with children between the ages of 6 weeks to 6 years old.**** The Inova Fairfax Hospital Child Care Center opened in 1992 to provide high quality, on-site child care for hospital employees. Our center is accredited by the NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) and is designed to meet the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual needs of children in a safe, loving, and stimulating environment. Duties: Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment to promote the positive development of children. Provide developmentally appropriate curriculum to promote the physical and intellectual growth of children. Provide positive guidance to support the social and emotional development of children. Establish positive and productive relationships with families to provide consistency and support for the positive development of children. Maintain a commitment to professionalism to continue to improve as a teacher.
