A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Child Litigation Solicitor to join a local authority based in the Home Counties. This is a permanent role in a supportive team which advises client departments on the conduct of cases involving children's social services issues.
As an experienced solicitor, barrister or FILEX, you will be expected to take on a busy caseload providing representation and legal advice on child protection matters and confidently conducting related advocacy.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of post-qualification experience dealing with public law childcare matters, ideally having worked within a local authority, though applications from private practice solicitors and barristers representing guardians will be considered. A current CRB will be necessary.
